Gábor Darvas (until 1952 Gábor Steinberger) (January 18, 1911 – February 18, 1985) was a Hungarian composer and musicologist. He was one of a number one Hungarian composers to act in the field of electronic music. As a musicologist, his interest was primarily inside music of the 15th and 16th centuries.

He was innate at Szatmárnémeti (Austria-Hungary). Between 1929 and 1932 he studied at a Budapest Academy of Music with Zoltán Kodály. When you took the 2nd Globe War he sleep in Chile, working as a conductor & a musicologist. When giving to Hungary he commenced an active career as a composer, writing film scores as well as pieces applying tape.
